Twist Tie Color on Bread Packaging Means Something…

Twist tie color code or what we called tabs on bread packaging only indicates what day of the week the bread was baked on. The practice of using these color codes is not necessarily meant to be used by customer, but to aid the staff stocking the shelves with bread in knowing what bread needs to be removed from the shelves. In this way, they can just look for ones of a specific color and remove those old stacks of bread which actually makes life easier.
