The word espresso literally means “when something is forced out” in Italian.
Today, 40% of the world’s coffee is produced by Columbia and Brazil. There are about 4,000 coffee beans are found in one kilo of roasted coffee.
The beans excreted by a Sumatran wild cat is called Kopi Luwak, and it is the world’s most expensive coffee; while the most common coffee are a blend of Arabica and robusta beans. Arabica varieties such as Java and Mocha are named after their ports of origin.
